The developers have been ditched & rumour has it the people responsible for city of heroes drafted in. I was really looking forward to this game it was the MMO that I was willing to let sap my life (big trekkie!). Anyone else looking forward to this? If the game was made with trekkies in mind, it could be awesome, but as we know, all trek games are doomed for failure anyway. :mad:

Legacy was less than rubish, Tactical Assault was atrocious, the last good trek game was Elite Force but that was limited somewhat & ancient by modern standards.
Need to renew my trek gaming, any good suggestions?

Thats such a shame... Perpetual really looked like they had a good thing going...

As for Trek gaming, Original Armada was always good... along with Bridge Commander

Only ever had the demo of bridge commander, it's now gone up in price on ebay because it's such a rare game! I've got a copy of Elite Force 2 I bought for 4 pounds now worth 30!! The world is just gagging for a decent trek game, hope game developers realise this. Are there any good mods out for existing games?

CoH and CoV are horrendously bad games. The game engine for them is abysmal and you literally do nothing in game. Oh dear

There really haven't been any good Star Trek Games, I mean, I enjoyed Commander and Armada, But mainly due to the Multiplayer aspects, This could be awesome. So I just hope it is.

Yeah...there really haven't been many that have been any good. I did used to love Klingon Academy and the first Elite Forces though.
