I'm back baby!
Dropped from the side, side wins, out of contract at the end of the season, end of the road?

STORY

Being linked with WHU and Everton.

He's fast, strong and good in the air. When he is on his game the best defences would struggle to contain his movement and workrate.

When he's not he is a complete passenger.

When he's not he is a complete passenger.

Which he has been for a lot of this year :(

Remarkable the amount of goals he has scored this season though, was on absolute fire until he handed his request in.
I'd still like him in the side but Gradel has been superb in the past 2/3 games and Becchio's physical prescence is a must in this league.

McSheffrey can't even get a game!

McSheffrey can't even hit a barn door.

True story, he missed an open goal in ressies game other day I believe.

As for Beckford he has done little to nothing since the Man U game and I wouldn't mind if he didn't play again all season. Gradel and Becchio have been outstanding and it's about time Grella got some more 1st team football.

In hindsight we should have sold him in Jan.

At league 1 level when he can be bothered there isn't a better striker. fact.
Unfortunately when his head gets too big, he can't be bothered and he's been nothing but a passenger since that great day at old trafford.

As far as i'm concerned he can go wherever he wants, but there is no way he'll cut it above this level for 2 simple reasons:

- his lack of control is shocking for someone who likes the ball on the ground
- his workrate is shocking. He makes berbatov look like he's energetic.

If we do go up then i dont think they'll be players far and above his calibre who are interested in coming to leeds, especially players like austin, paynter, lambert etc who might not want to spend another season in league 1

He can definitely cut it above League 1. He would be one of the best strikers in the Championship.

So was Huckerby, though.

I think he can cut it in L1 when his confidence is up. When he is on form he is fantastic and put put anything away.

Unfortunately his first touch is poor and he gets frustrated and then starts to play badly and on a bad day he might as well not be on the pitch.

I don't think he would be good enough for PL though.

I feel a little sorry for Wealdstone where we got him from as they won't get nothing if he goes free, they would have got a decent chunk if we got money for him which would have helped them a fair bit.
