Yeah, I know its not up to much, but I bought it a wee while ago and have only just got around to installing it.

I'm stuck, seriously stuck.

At the mission where you have to kill the Jedi Knights and then stop them destroying the bookshelves in the library. First bit isn't too bad, second bit when you have 2 minutes to defend the bookshelves is nigh on impossible!!

By the time I've even got to the room, nearly all the bookshelves are destroyed already. I'm playing as an engineer, but even trying to heal the shelves doesn't really work. When the clock timer gets to 1:00 minute and the last wave of Jedi come down from the ceiling, it takes 10 seconds or so and they destroy the last shelf.

Has anyone got any tips for this?. It's seriously doing my head in!!!.

Pick one bookshelf and defend it, use the detpacks to your advantage. If the shelf your defending looks relatively safe then defend the others, but always go back and defend the one you picked out. Only one has to be remaining iirc.

This mission is quite hard, but as mentioned you only need 1 bookshelf standing at the end. What I did was choose to be the Officer bloke with a chaingun, that makes pretty short work of the jedi. After a dozen or so attempts you should be able to nail it.

Learn whereabouts the Jedi spawn up high and get ready to nail them as they are dropping down. Also concentrate your fire on those who are attacking the bookshelves rather than ones in the centre of the room or attacking you. If you prioritise your targets and aim efficiently then you should be able to stop them taking out all the targets.

Cheers for the replies folks.

Managed it eventually. Took ages. Hope there aren't any more missions like that, it was a complete pain the the proverbial.

Onto Naboo now. Despite what the press said about this game, its actualy not too bad in my opinion. Not tried the MP side of things yet though, dont think I'll bother to be honest.
