Star wars Battlfront 2

Should i get it, it does look good but from some reveiws ive seen they give it average scores. So i want to know really what you lot think i was hoping to order it today depending on you say.

i wouldn't bother, if you want vehicular multiplayer fun go for UT2004 or battlefield 2.

I bought it after pondering that same question, don't play it anymore though. Wish I'd got UT2004 instead.

took mine back to game and traded it in for somethin else

I'd leave it alone. I enjoyed the first one but the second one didn't have the charm or fun.

Pretty 'average' game if you ask me, aside from starwars nuts I can't see much appeal in this game. Playing as Vader is pretty cool for a while, and performance is very good, but (like many xbox titles) it feels like a game from a few years ago. Compared to top FPS such as CoD, FC, D3, HL2 etc its certainly nothing to write home about.

There are better Star Wars wehicular games (the Rogue Squadron and X-Wing serieses). There are better Star Wars lightsaber games (the Jedi Knight series). There are FAR better story-based Star Wars games (KOTOR). And although there are very few decent Star Wars FPS games, there are plenty of non-SW ones that also miles better than it.

So in conclusion, I wouldn't bother.
