Just wondering if anyone knows of any plans for lucas to release a Star Wars boxed set containing all 6 episodes.

I dont want to buy two boxed sets, it seems a bit naff having one for ep 1-3 and one for 4-6

There's bound to be one, and then a special edition one, and then a Limited edition one, and then a Special Limited Edition one, then yet a Collectors edtiion.

I am waiting for the one the Janitor doing to commentory as an extra after he's exhausted all the others stuff.

I thought i heard recently he was releasing the orignal movies as a set, without the stupid CGI add ons.

If he does i bet it'll only be in a set of all 6, Lucas is a git like that.

im waiting for the 6 films with all the cgi and bonus features u can fit into a dvd boxset :D

although considerin lucas said 4-6 would never be on dvd and he is now putting the classic films on dvd (proper classic not the remastered) i think ill wait it out until he a bit low on cash and decides to make ep7-9 ... and then get all 9! ooooh now that would be sweet ! :D

The set containing all 6 will be Bluray/HD-DVD only and will only play on a Lucastech player to ensure you see them 'as they were always meant to be seen'. ;)

I've got em all on DVD now, it's not as if having them in a special box set makes them any better to watch of listen to... though it is nice to have a special box to show them off in I guess.

Still, gonna get the 3 original movies when they come out in September :)

You make fun but i wouldn't put it past the guy :p

I think he should make fun of the hardcore fans and when he releases the 6 DVD box set it should have a big picture of jarjar on the front....ooo the decision.

Oh yer I'm so after the "Original" movies in September.....
One boxed set I'm certainly not interested in.

I have all six films on DVD.
Unless a future boxed set puts the missing scenes back into the correct locations in Episodes 1, 2 & 3 then as far as I'm concerned I've bought all the boxed sets I'm going to.
Next time I buy will be to replace on to a new format and because DVD players are no longer available.

There were rumours and unconfirmed dates i came across while working in my local branch of a certain megastore chain - it was aiming for summer but i think it'll be more likely to be available for christmas, more money for the fatcats i guess
