Star Wars: Force Unleashed 2

They lost it after deciding to use the PC platform as an excuse for there shoddy coding!
shame as ive enjoyed all the star wars jedi knight style games :(

if they port it properly. and add in multiplayer like the jedi knight games this could be good. but it has to be something similar to the old games otherwise its just not that good, the star wars story apart from kotor has been utter ravished and theres very little in there to entertain us on a solo player game.

the first one on the pc was terrible constantly crashing even after the latest patch, shame really

Gah, if they made a new X-Wing\TIE Fighter game the masses would be all over it. Why must Lucasarts persist with this Unleashed rubbish :(

How awesome would X-win/TIE fighter be with a campaign of fully deigned set peices, but also the option for fully procedural extra missions.

Stuff like defend the convoy, raid an imperial convoy, destroy a rebel base.

Each with a quick procedural text based/map based befiing giving the basic lay out then of course in the mission finding out there's an extra fighter quadren no one knew about or that it was an ambush etc.

or just basic with random ships/fighters in the convoy/base.

The retail EU DVD-rom version I bought never crashed once start to finish. No technical issues whatsoever.

Only the leaked buggy incomplete pirate version had stabilty issues so your completely wrong. PC version was also the best one by far. Much better graphics & framerate than the console versions and all paid for console DLC was included in the retail package for less £.

You can also buy it on Steam as well now ;)

Too awesome for this life it would seem :(

I'm surprised folks are looking forward to this. I'm certainly not unless they make it more open and intuitive for kb/mouse. The star wars tag + pretty ish graphics weren't enough to make me complete the first one so i'll not buy the second unless it gets a massive overhaul.

Story was decent and voice acting were good but those alone aren't enough to interest me. I'd watch a movie or read a book for a better, lazier experience in it's place.

Alliance was already some way to doing this, they were limited by needing to cater to 1990s computers. Even so, there were dynamic objectives and multiple sectors of space in a typical mission, the engine can also handle a full size (19km) Executor as well.

I hope that its better than the first, as much as parts of the first were fun, I felt that the force powers didnt really flow and it was far too difficult to chain them together!

+1 for TIE Fighter 2 tho.
