Doesn't the 360 marketplace enforce file size limits? If so then they will have compressed some non-essential parts of the 360 demo such as audio.

Dont think they do enforce limits on demo sizes. Arcade yes, but i have downloaded demos above 1.5Gb of XBL.

Hmm, dunno then, at a guess the installation files for the 360 use a better compression method than those for the PS3.

Has anyone seen a comparison between the PS3 & 360 version yet?

As it was built on the PS3 first I wondered whether the textures were compressed for the 360 version, hence why the demo is 500Mb smaller?

Is it definitely the same demo on both?
I read previously in this thread that it's a short demo, but the PS3 download page says it's a "quick 25-30 min demo"

Other than that, can't imagine why the file sizes would differ so much, unless there's a lot of hires video or something?

Well finished the demo. Feels like one of those japan/ninja gaiden style button mashers disguised as an SW game tbh. Although that was just the demo itself. I'll probably still get it anyway.

The way i do it is by force grabbing someone or something and pressing 'X' (360 version).

I encountered slowdown on the PS3 version.

I found it runs and looks a lot better on the PS3 version, I think there could possibly be an extra level of AA on PS3 too.

The Audio is hands down better on the PS3 too.

I just had a degree of slowdown when you first go into the hangar.

Didn't notice any difference in the audio, wasn't really paying much attention mind.

I think PS3 could be the lead platform, I noticed on the loading screens they had tips for combos on the PS3 version, but not on the 360. Possibly they left that out when porting over.

Nah, the 360 load screens had combos and gameplay tips too, otherwise I'd be stuffed without them

Not exactly chuffed with the targeting system, and blaster bolt deflection should be automatic, but I can live with it.

Wow this game was well fun. It's well good just shooting random enemies into the air, or into the wall.

Just finished the demo. Maybe its not my kind of game but I found it really boring. They should have called it 'Force Grip Simulator' since thats the only power worth using. Thats a minor criticism among many, it just didn't do it for me.
