I am surprised there already isnt a thread in here about this game. Has anyone purchased it and playing? I really wanted it but think the cheapest i could find it at was £55 for PS5.

I have seen a few reviews and they all have been pretty positive although they do all state that its pretty buggy however they were using a pre release build (Apparently most of the bugs and performance issues have been addressed with the Day 1 Patch.

Anyone playing?

I am assuming that as you have just installed the game the Day1 patch is installed at the same time which apparently helps significantly. Good job you are online. :o

I hear there are some great new areas including one thats as big as 3 of the planets on the original. It certainly looks great and supposed to be a great continuation of the original game.

That’s not great to hear. I really wanted it but not really going to reward the devs for putting out a shonky game by paying 60 quid for it.

I have been playing over the weekend and enjoying it.. I seem to be getting a bit of screen tearing when using performance mode, not tried the other mode yet. The camera angles can be a pain at times and often find the fighting to be a bit hit an miss but still good. Just got to the fractured moon but finished for the night.

Well i believe i am on the last boss... Think i have played for about 19 hours but done a load of the rumors etc and honestly, the campaign does seem a little short (Unless there is a big chunk of it after where i currently am) I love the main planet being so huuuuuuuge, its actually pretty impressive how big it is and the different areas are fantastic but its not really the same in the other areas. The desert bit is pretty meh, the shattered moon is very simliar (And in one place near the big boss fight you can actually get stuck and cant work your way back out and cant fast travel either) and Coruscant is pretty much on rails and quite small in scale.

I have enjoyed it and hope there are some nice hidden areas to get to with some good boss fights (Although the cavern area is a bloody nightmare.. ) but wanted a bigger epic length game but i have been doing other things and have almost completed the main game in less than 20 hours. I also think the main villains come across as one dimensional without a great deal of substance.

Will see if there is the 51 hours that they have touted as full completion in the actual game.

After looking at the index of the walkthrough it does look like i have a few more episodes to go... :D I did see a spoiler about a certain skill available towards the end of the game but i havnt got it yet so that really should have tipped me off DOH!

Well that took a turn!

I have to say that, although i havnt finished it yet, it can be very emotional in parts. The story is pretty well written and has some great ups and downs but like everything some meh parts. I agree with biron_w as well, its a great example of a Star Wars Metroidvania... Similar actually to the Batman Arkham games (More so the latter 2 with the more open world maps)..

Variety of enemies
Better platforming
Better Hologram map
The scale of environment
Makes you feel like a badass Jedi from the outset (This only really happened 2/3rds in to Fallen Order)
Graphics
Story
More side quests to do and more concise about where things are

Bad points - Too many collectables including hard to see plants and cosmetic items

There are things to unlock that help with the collectables. It shows the plants, the character upgrades, the scrolls, the pyrite and echos on the map making it a lot easier.

Well just finished the main gampaign and thought it was pretty good. I have however come across a bug that doesn’t currently have a fix.

So, once you start the bounty Hunter missions and get your first bounty you have to go back to her to get the location of the next bounnty. But for me she just talks about some random topics until she stops talking to you altogether. So no Bounty Hunter missions for me. I have tried everything, go back to main menu and then close the game, restart and continue, no change. I have even u installed to no avail. Apparently the devs are aware of it but are unable to sort a fix yet.

Anyone else?

Yeah that has been several updates recently and they have fixed the bounty hunter bugs :D My friend has loaned my copy so i will get round to sorting them in good time..

Hello from Derby as well :D I actually work near Chad.. Just on the Pride Park/Wyvern :D
