Star Wars:KOTOR problems?

If you're running an nvidia card then try this:
I hope this helps you guys. I was having this problems and the way I fix it was by going to the Nvidia control panel, advance settings,manage 3d settings and programs settings.
There I added swkotor.exe Looking at the settings, on conformant texture clamp, I selected "USE OPENGL SPECIFICATION" and since doing this I have not had a random crash in several hours of playing.

In terms of resolutions there is nothing out there change the existing resolutions in the game I'm afraid, not even a widescreen patch so I ran it at 1280x960.

(Edit) Glad you got it working...
One last thing I remembered:
Open the file swkotor.ini and at the bottom of the Graphics Options settings, add the line
Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1
That appears to solve crashes for a lot of people so it might be worth a try.
