tbh though, i doubt somehow that the emperor didnt know about the apprentice, he seems a little too...powerful to go unnoticed (disturbance in the force an all that crud), not to mention i thought jedi/"sith" from kotor era onwards were nothing compaired to the 1st sith empire in terms of power and skill, regardless of any balance

I was at Celebration europe yesterday and asked haden blackman about the force unleashed.

- Supposedly you'll find out during the story why the emporer doesn't know.
- The trailer (apart from the star destroyer) was all gameplay.
- This game plays a HUGE role in the star wars universe. and the story is canon to the overall star wars saga.
- No announcements on Wii or PC Versions.

Probably being stupid but what do you mean about "and the story is canon..."?

Personally would love to see aan updated X WIng / Tie fighter game on a next gen console but really looking forward to this one also

canon means its officially part of the star wars universe story, as supposed to being an unofficial alternative timeline or fan fiction. So any vader or emperor stuff in it will be officially what they did in between 3 and 4.
 
means the story is recoqnised as part of the proper star wars story :) Not like some which contradict the other episodes. George Lucas helped with the story :)
