Star Wars on any Nintendo Console > All

I just hope they bring out a system that utilises the wiimote. cannot say that im really really hoping Lucasarts bring out another Rogue Squadron.

I'd rather have a 3rd galactic battlegrounds for the 360. It would be like Cod4 but star wars. Plus you have the vehicles and ships.

There isnt a game on ANY Nintendo console that comes close to X-wing Alliance or X-wing vs Tie fighter.

perhaps i phrased wrong as its one of the most enjoyable games i played as a kid. i wan them to bring out another one for the Wii though i doubt it.

Amen, adding to that Jedi Knight, Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast w/ MotS expansion, and Jedi Academy :D

Force unleashed looks amazing though! Really cannot wait!!

I liked KOTOR II although i never completed it, I think that this game will feel much more natural than KOTOR in the sense that its more about how you control it than point and click.

I think the most exciting feature of this game has to be:

Wiimote = lightsabre!! :D

i agree with you but lets hope to pull off all the complicated attacts you dont have to actually do them, ie the lightsaber does not move like how you move your controller. i cant move quickly enough to block all those blaster bolts :D

would be nice if they put the feature in though, such as under the a the most difficult settign or as an extra/minigame.

They will have to think exceptionally carefully about the way in which the lightsabre action happens. I think all they need to do for the FPS sections is mimic Metroid Prime 3 or Medal of Honor to be perfect. But there'll need to be a clever system in which there is 1:1 Wiimote mapping, accurately, but the use of some gestures for complicated attacks like blaster deflection (which isn't actual skill with the 'sabre, more the Force).

They could actually ignore where the blaster is actually firing, and you just swinging the 'sabre would be enough to deflect it, although I don't think that's particularly fun or skillful.

This game looks awsome....But i wont hold my breath as i can see it been pushed back to 2009....seems to be a trend for the games industry these days. But from watching the tech videos it does look very nice!!!! and to be honest any game that has a light saber in it with them noises has to be AWSOME!!

Quite right - I'm playing through Lego Star Wars on PSP at the minute and thats great too... has all the proper light sabre sounds etc :D

Just read an article about this in games (tm). They were hopeful but didn't think it would be any where near a good a game as KOTOR. I don't think they liked the director either when he suggested super powers would make up for characterization.
