Just been playing this. Great fun until the second 'level' where I have just spent the last hour falling down into a gorge and falling back to the last 'checkpoint'. It was like playing a game from the 80s.

God I hate console games.

I'm sure everyone on here would be very interested to know how you managed to get this so early when the EU release is not until 20th November and US retailers are not allowed to legally sell this until 3rd Nov but some were selling this yesterday (don't bother telling us BTW we are not dumb enough to not know how you got this).

Because I was thinking of ordering it for the PC when it came out. It is what, a year old? The PC version is out soon.

I was just driven potty playing it with a controller.

I don't like console gaming - I much prefer my PC.

Is this any different to the 360 / PS3 versions?

I quite liked the game but traded it in a while ago. The ONLY thing that really made me beyond furious *SPOILER* is the part where you have to bring down that ship.

I played the demo on the 360 and I felt like it was a big missed opportunity. It's just your standard console-style game that does most of the work for you and focuses on "press x not to die" challenges. Shame really.

Was quite interested in seeing this on the PC (only played the demo on the 360), with the expectation of higher framerates etc. However, miscellaneous forum postings by people who have obviously already got hold of it are saying that the PC version is capped to 30fps - WTF?!

Anyone know if that has been officially acknowledged at all?

Starting a thread by declaring that console users are "too stupid to tie their own shoelaces" is provocative and against forum rules. You were clearly looking to get a response from people and the mods agreed, hence the thread was closed.

It doesn't matter whether it was provocative or not - it wasn't trolling.
