I wouldn't imagine this will interest very many people that do DC projects. You really have to have a reason to actually bother doing that, it isn't just like F@H or other projects on BOINC where you just leave them to get on.

hmmm not sure about my eyesight either, if it's not bad enough now then it may be totally gone by the time I'm finished my first "movie"

I am tempted to have a go though - seeing as it's not a resource zapper :p


A.N.Other I think you're probably right about it not appealing much to DC folk - however there are a lot of people who don't care much for DC but have such an interest in this kind of thing that they could top the ranks :p
I think many will embrace a project where they can actually get involved and it's not all simply down to how many machines you can borg

Just wondering how the scoring works though, presumably it's down to the individual involved to decide when they've finished with an individual movie - bearing in mind they are expecting a maximum of 100 particles in 1.6 million movies what's to stop you just hammering through the WUs saying nope? :confused:

I think my curiosity may get the better of me - at least in registering and trying the training and test to see how it all works :)
 
I wanted to have a go at this and went through the training this morning. Unfortunately you couldnt take the test and fully register at that point. Now when I try to visit all i get is a request for user id and password, which I havent got yet.

disapointing but I guess they have been swamped.

yep same here - actually looks very interesting though :)
 
I wasn't going to bother with this, but I took the test that you need to take (and pass) before you can register - just out of interest. I got 10/10, so thought it rude not to join :o

I find it really addictive and enjoyable, though you do need to have pretty sharp eyesight and a fair amount of concentration :)
