stargate worlds ?

No that was stargate alliance which was scrapped, this is stargate online or its proper name, stargate Worlds, they just released the trailer and it looks awesome.
 
Dudes, yeah its stargate worlds, one of the MMOs Im looking forward to being a fan of the series. The trailer didnt do much for me though :( Wanna see some ingame stuff.

Stargate is a good concept, just cant see how it can be implemented into an MMO effectively.
 
I only clicked out of curiosity, I'm not remotely interested in either the game or the series, but the last line made me laugh hard!:D

stargate + atlantis are clearly the best tv shows ever.
lets hope this becomes the best mmorpg ever...im not holding my hopes too high though, but i will definitely be trying this out.
 
just read the entire wiki theyve set up for the game.
looks good so far. some things, like the gate travel, will probably need tweaking.
doesnt sound as grindy as wow which is good, with expected 200hours gameplay before max level. not sure if it will beat the pick up n playability of guildwars though.
 
oh dear, made an idiot of myself actually laughing at work reading the replies :D

I used to play Everquest years ago and got bored of it very quick. But this sounds really interesting. Will have to watch the trailer :)
