Start Menu - Tiles Blank?

Hi,

Anybody got a fix for this issue, it's been puzzling me since I moved to W10 (including a fresh install). Occasionally when opening the start menu it will be blank with only some of the tiles showing, this could happen after 10 minutes of minimal use or 7 hours of gaming, it just happens.

To fix the problem I can restart the Windows Explorer process and all is fine, however it's getting a bit annoying now...

That's my current start menu, until I restart explorer.

Any help would be appreciated!

Perhaps clear the icon cache?

Had similar issues with 1-2 installs - never found a fix - reinstalling would sort it for weeks or so but eventually comes back (for some reason seems to plague particular machines and not others with no clear rhyme or reason).

Apparently it is fixed in the ~2nd August update but not holding my breath.

Tried that, but it also blanks out text and options on the left, so isn't just icons unfortunately.

I shall remain hopeful then, but don't expect it to be fixed.
My friend has never had the issue, and we're running the same version of windows, it's extremely odd.
