Norton isn't going to stop software you choose to install on your computer.

It annoys the hell out of me too, but even popular free software have started bundling junk in their installers.

Always read the tick-boxes, and always go for 'custom' installation rather than 'quick' or 'express'. Read everything before you install.

I had this before just need to uninstall the programs it installed and then reset your browsers. Have fun.

Go to Add/Remove Programs in control panel and sort by date, it should be obvious.

Parents laptop had this before, very annoying. Came as a an 'optional add on' to one of the programs they were installing and obviously never declined the offer.

It will be in your Add/Remove Programs under MySearchDial or similar.
