Start of the spec me thread...

Hi all

I'm starting off the old spec me thread, going case first. General specs are for a AM5 rig with GPU and a couple of HDDs with pretty good cooling as the case is in a room that can get warm in the summer. Where the case sits is a space 25cm wide, 50cm deep and just over 60cm high, but it doesn't have to fill that hole (oh err vicar!). I'm after something black, and RGB is a bore for me. Ideally, fresh air drawn in from the front and fed out back/top with some dust filtration. My initial idea is an Antec Performance 1 FT ARGB Full Tower - Black. I'm coming from an Antec P182, so got a soft spot for Antec, but doesn't have to be... Any ideas?

Lian Li 216 gets decent reviews, lots of config options too, including where you can move the motherboard down for water cooling in the top.

Phanteks XT has a few variants, some with more fans than others.

The Performance 1 looks like a decent case too, to be fair, I just never looked at it. The 216 has dropped a little in price too, so 85 for the non-RGB seems reasonable to me.

Montech's 903 is a case I often use for 'budget' builds.

Just bought the NZXT H5 Flow. Decent case, will keep things cool.
