Start>Programs, arrange alphabetically?

Is there any way to automatically arrange the files/folders in start>programs alphabetically?

Start>Programs
Right-click any of the items in the list and select "Sort By Name" from the menu which will pop-up.

For some reason, after about the third application that you install it stops doing it automatically. Bug in there somewhere...
