Hiya, hopefully somebody can help me with this problem.
If I have a system failure and my PC restarts I am left with the usual options of:
restarting windows normally
restart in safe mode
last known good configuration etc., etc.

but unfortunately when I use the arrow keys to navigate to the relevant choice nothing happens, in fact when I try and select any of the options the keyboard does not function (meaning I cannot move the cursor) and it just uses the default selection once the timer runs out.

Is there something I need to set in my bios to get the keyboard working to select safe mode or last know good configuration??

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit and my wireless keyboard set is a Logitech EX110.

thanks for looking guys n gals.

Is the keyboard USB?

If that is the case then make sure you have USB keyboard enabled in the BIOS.

Then it should work, i had a similar problem when installing windows.

You will need to use a PS2 Keyboard to do the changes to enable the USB keyboard either that or just use a PS2 keyboard tempareraly.
