Hi All I noticed the start up time in Windows 7 is slow ,is there any tweaks that can be done to speed this up ? i think i remember something in the registry was changed in xp to speed it up
I just use tune up utilities to remove unnecessary programs during startup (which seriously slows down boot times) this can also be done through msconfig. Also defragging you OS hdd will help
Don't shutdown. The only time I reboot is to install windows updates, the rest of the time the box is put into sleep mode. It takes longer for the monitor to warm up than the PC takes to wake up.
