StarTech RAID hard drive enclosure - Cancel RAID 1

Hi

I have a starTech raid hdd enclosure, it was set to use raid 1 with 2 identical Seagate 1TB empty drives with no data.

I followed the manual and set the jumper on the enclosure to see separate drives (JBOD).

Within windows 10's disk management I see both the drives as basic disks and they only have 750 GB not 1TB.

Windows didn't present an option to format the drives. Only option was to Convert to dynamic disk and when I tried that I get this error:

The operation is not supported on the object.


Please advice.

I got the drives to work by using Diskpart in CMD.
