TRIM support

Hi, I was wondering if i boot my SSD from one of these controller cards, will TRIM still be enabled? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere online.

Hi, I was wondering if i boot my SSD from one of these controller cards, will TRIM still be enabled? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere online.

For TRIM to work you just need Windows 7 and a SSD which supports TRIM. It won't matter how the SSD is connected to your SATA controller and one of these controller cards won't stop TRIM from working ;)

Any chance of getting in some cards with a higher number of ports? The Highpoint Rocketraid 27xx (4-8 ports) for example.. am planning to build my own NAS and it's a bit frustrating to get everything from here but have to go elsewhere for this one component. Just an idea. :)
