So, I started a new job at a huge international company but I'm not really liking what I'm doing at the moment.
I have seen a few jobs that I could do but I would be taking about 3k a year pay cut, saying that I don't have any bills to pay apart from a car and a phone. Does anybody have any advice on what i should do?

I would say it depends on what you're on? If you're on 150k it's not a big a difference than if you're on 45k etc

Also whilst life is too short to do things you hate, which one has the most progression opportunities?

What would the opportunity job(s) be like happiness wise? Any ideas?
If there's the potential to be happier in future. I might be inclined to stay. Have you spoken to anyone at work about if there's a chance you could do the sort of things you'd be doing in the other jobs, within the company?

I'd say that looking at £20-25k jobs, you are likely early on in your career, and will change jobs before long anyway. If the current role has better opportunities for furthering yourself I'd stick it out most likely.

Switching jobs every 5 minutes will hinder you on your CV in the future most likely.

Aim to glean whatever experience you can from this current role, with the target to move on in 12-18 months.

True....but realistically you can get away with one on your CV if you have a good explanation for it and don't make a habit of it. If you're early on in your career you may want to save that get out of jail card for a properly bad career move.

If it's a well respected company and you'll get good experience then stick with it for a year at least, then you can look at internal moves or just find another job.

Yeah true but also the environment is different to what i was expecting. This is all warehouse and i was looking for more office environment. I'm going to stick it out for a few more weeks and see how things go.

Erm, you need to be asking more questions at interviews!

My current job has way more opportunity from what I can see.

I'm currently earning 23k a year and the other job is 20k

I'd stick with the current job. By all means keep looking for something better but I wouldn't jump ship for less money and less prospects unless I absolutely hated the job or there was some other factor involved (working hours, travel time/cost etc).

OK here is a lesson in reading your contract before signing it - it should have place of work and hours of work in it. If it didnt you needed to have that clarified before you started.
