I'm getting fairly excited about the things it can do, and plan to produce most of my websites with this going forward.
How do people feel about the general prospects for the future of Flash, as in is it generally accepted that it is the "future of web page development" or is something else creeping up that will supercede it?
Also I can handle the nice GUI and Photoshop / PowerPoint type usability, but with regards to the coding side, is it complicated and can anyone recommend some decent books?
Just really looking for some opinions on Flash and whether or not it's a good thing to be learning. I'm talking about it being a hobby potentially developing into some contracting since I'm a full time accountant, but I want to develop web skills in conjunction with my business skills as I feel that it would place me well for starting up on my own in the future.
