Those are the specs, I might be able to get some pics up later if people are interested. I've been following a few YouTube guides to help me connect all the wires in the right place. But for the life of me I can't seem to figure out where the case fans are supposed to be plugged into so that I can also use my fan controller.

Here is the video I've been using to guide me through it, the case is quite similar to mine and I don't really get where he's plugging them into.

Any help appreciated as I'm almost there :D!

The case fans go into the fan controller, there are a few 3pin connectors to plug them into, then just give the fan controller some power with a 4pin molex from the PSU.

I figured out that the case fan connectors had a protective thing over them and that's what was confusing me! All makes sense now :P

OK, update. Tried my first boot and everything seemed fine went into BIOS, didn't detect any SATA drives. So I had a look and noticed one of the SATA power cables must have fell out as I was moving my case, anyway plugged it back in, and now the case fan lights flashed and didn't boot I didn't want to try too many times, only tried twice as I don't want to risk anything. But I swear these SATA power cables aren't in properly. They don't 'click' or anything no matter how hard I try to push them in. Should I feel a click or what?

has each drive got a SATA cable from the board to the drive and a power cable from the PSU to the drive?

Not sure if it makes a difference but I plugged my plugged my HHD and DVD drive into the Grey 6Gbps SATA 3 port and the ASRock board didn't detect them so i moved them to the SATA 2 port and if was fine.

SSD was plugged into SATA 3 though

EDIT: I have the same board and only built mine yesterday

Good shout mate, that's what I did as well. Put them into SATA2 and everything's fine. My molex -> SATA cable didn't seem to want to do anything either, had to run 2 seperate SATA power cables since the first one didn't reach my optical drive. Did you have any problems with this awinchurch?

Will try to get some pictures up tomorrow, just installing Windows 7 now + Need to sort out the cables badly
