Hi Guys,
So with my new camera on the way and great advise on which to go for (D5300) i have now done various research and looking around and have sort of decided on the following 2 lenses to get me rolling to fill in gaps to start with.

Nikon 50mm f/1.8 D
Tamron AF 70-300mm

And obviously my camera comes with the stock lens of 18-55

I am planning on doing Wildlife/Airshows(Only 1 i plan to go to atm mind), Doing plants / landscape.

And also plan on using the camera at weddings / special dos.

Cheers

Okay thank you both, I will save for them instead, I am sure the stock lens will do me fine for a month or so while i get the other 2 :)

So as i am going to a wedding this weekend, and read the 35mm is also great for landscapes i have gone for it and it also had cashback offer.

Feel this lens will give me a pretty good cover on what i would like to do except for wildlife which can wait.

Can not wait to start shooting with this :)

So i am now itching to get the Nikon 55-300mm VR, specially while the nice weather is about so i can do some nice shots.

Fact there's a £25 cashback on it too which brings it down to £237 is tempting.

Really love it, absolutely cracking lens glad i asked here to be told to get that over the 50mm.

The wedding photos came out crisp and stunning, some cracking bokeh is had from the lens :D and also did some random scenery shots and they look awesome too below as a example.
