Starting a website

Not sure if i put this in the right place.

Anyone got a link to a guide an how to set up a website?
I seem to remember Virginnet (My internet supplier) saying you get free web space or somthing. But i would like a site with my own www address.

Any help will be great as i have no idea on this.

If you want to learn how to code the whole site yourself, best looking at w3schools to start off. Or you could use Dreamweaver of Microsoft Frontpage for a WYSIWYG.

Im with telewest (which is now Virgin Media) And I believe I get 50Meg of space. Basically just used for storing images for websites etc. You might be best to use this until you get the hang of it (Saves having to pay, which you normally have to do). It uses the format http://<your alias>.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk. Obviously mines still blueyonder, yours may be different.

Im not going to get into the coding thing. Dreamweaver looks like a good place to start. Thanks.
