Pc has been on the go for 3-4 years, have a myriad of ssd’s and nvmes etc.

Going to start with a fresh nvme (4tb) and add other drives back as necessary, I have backed up doc photos etc, made a windows install on iso.

What else would you recommend I download now so I am good to go quickly when reinstalling?

Updated bios, coming at it more from large exe’s type thing, I do have a 1GB internet connection so can redownload stuff I guess.

Plan was to set steam, ubi, gamepass, gog etc off overnight

Will look into that, thanks, ultimately my ocd wants the libraries in single drives, for example I have steam over 4 drives

I have gone for it, clean as a daisy, started with 4 ssd ( 1tb, 480, 480 and 256), two nvme (2tb and 1tb) and a hd (1tb) down to 2 nvme (4tb and 2tb) , 3 ssd (1tb, 480,480) and really fast nvme external drive

Placebo no doubt, but pc is reborn, everything lightening quick so far

It’s literally an empty case with a nvme to usb interface so you can plug in as external drive

Just had a play transferring from internal nvme to external, copied massive file with average of 450mbps, went between 250 and 700, that will do me

All done, disconnected everything bar the new drive, installed the basics, then added the rest one by one and formatting them
