Hi guys!

I've decided to start again with my training programme after not training for a good 4-5 months due to money problems which are now hopefully over! Today I've done my first workout in months and I'm really feeling it! I must admit I haven't missed the struggle to walk upstairs after squatting.

My stats are:
Height: 5'10
Weight: 85kg
Age: 27
Previous lifts: bench 8x65kg, squat 8x120kg, deadlift 5x120kg

18/7/14 - First workout!

Squats
5x5 40kg

Bench Press
5x5 30kg

Barbell Row
5x5 30kg

Obviously these are all low weights but as I'm sure you know it soon gets heavy with Stronglifts. I'm just looking for some progression and a structured way back into lifting :)

Thanks for reading!

Today's session after a long day at work. Working with 240° ovens in this heat just isn't fun, but let's not moan :)

Squat
5x5 42.5kg

OHP
5x5 20kg - might have started a bit low on these?

Deadlift
5x 60kg - decided to up the starting weight on these as I love deadlifting and its probably my strong point

I'm hoping I've done the right thing with the deadlift, time will tell I suppose! I could easily double the weight I've started on for 5 reps so I should be fine. I need to trust the program!

Yeah, 5kg per week for deadlift. You're right its the perfect time to get form right which can only help later on when things get heavy.

Previous pb for OHP was 52.5kg for 8 reps. The bench press is definitely my weak point

Another sweaty session today. I'm finding it hard to get my food down me in this hot weather too. I always tend to lose my appetite when the weather gets warm.

24/7/14

Squats
5x5 45kg

Bench Press
5x5 32.5kg

Barbell Row
5x5 32.5kg - struggles slightly with these but I put that down to being a bit exhausted with the heat and lack of food
