Starting Date 2003?

Hi, currently investigating what default times motherboards start at these days. If a motherboard loses it's battery, what date do current ones generally default back to? Ie is it November 2003? September 2008? December 1970?

I know it's an odd question, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I would think it would go back to the commission date, or whenever the BIOS revision it is using was made.
