Evening all.

I have a stack of games installed on my PC, and wanted to know if there is anyway I can start the games without inseting the CD?

I obviously have the CD's, just wondering if you can rig the installs so it doesn't need the CD each time you fancy playing something.

Cheers

Because the game comes without protection

Quite unique for a publisher to do this
If I remember rightly Novalogic do this too. And rightly so, requiring the CD to play is a rather pointless method of protection.

I hate having to keep game cds around to play and always bypass where possible. It wouldnt bother me so much if they played off cd like a console game, but they instead waste gigs of hd space and still need the cd in slowing the game launching speed.

add someone to msn who actually knows... like me or the guy at the top, we can easily send you in the right direction with a few words, but we are not allowed to say them :d

If you own the games, there is nothing wrong with using Alcohol 120% to make images of the play discs and store those on your hard drive. That's what I do. All my original discs are safely tucked away in their boxes.

Still doesn't alter the fact that it will still ask you to insert disk when you got to play them
