Evening guys :)

Anyone have any ideas what might be the culprit with this problem..

On occasion (4/5 times out of 10) my car (vectra 1.8 07 plate) will crank over but just not fire up, no matter how long you hold the key it just cranks. Turn off, back on and it fires up straight away. Does not matter weather the car is hot/cold nor lying for a day or so.

Have spark plugs done in january along with new bosch s4 battery.

New cam sensors and a crank sensor fitted last week.

Could this be a starter motor?

No error codes nor any lights on the dash...

Unlikely, since you say it cranks over.

You say you've got new plugs in. How much fuel have you got in the tank when it fails to start?
Good point. because it failed to fire in the morning with 1 bar of petrol. Fired up straight away after work that day, yet wouldnt after i filled her up after work :o:confused:
