Basically, i bough everything for my setup and the case arrived and had a crack in it, and several other problems, and it has left a bitter aftertaste.

i have also thought that maybe i dont need to have a full sized case, as my components dont really take up that much room.

im not sure on any mid tower specs, iv been reading on here and people are recommending the nzxt h440, corsair 540/450 and the phantek enthoo.

just wondering if you can have a disc drive on a mid tower case, or built in usb ports etc, as it seems you lose out on a lot of the functions, and i have a lot of games on discs, cds etc that i wanted to install :\

so any recommendations ill appreciate as im going to buy one tonight :)

Virtually all mid tower cases take optical drives and have plenty of usb ports.

The cases you have mentioned have no issues with adding optical drives. Only issue it may ruin the look of the case :p

What are the parts your looking at using?

ah ok, im quite taken by the looks of the H440 in white. but the 450D seems like a very popular choice, and has the usb3.0 ports built in to the front

thanks man, all credit to the users of this forum!
think ill have to buy an external drive just for transferring all the data across, and then carry on as normal

NZXT has no optical bays? :P

it arrived this morning, so ill be spending my evening putting that together when i return home from the daily grind.... not the good kind.
