hey all,

I'm need to be able to restart a PC service via the tin'ter-net and a dos prompt.

I can log on to a remote PC with net use \\IP address.

but anyone know the command for restarting a PC anywhere service????

cheers in advance

thanks for the reply,

no connection isn't a option as its the pc anywhere service i'm trying to start. Tbh I'd rather be able to do it without the end-user's help.

I help manage over 1000 back of house pc's / tills and restarting them each time the service stops takes ages.

thanks i'll give that a bash.

cheers,

Yes the service is set to auto but it just sometimes stops. :(

I've seen logmein and i like, but software licensing means that we have to use pcaw.

that command before menation, does the job well and only takes a min to do, so i"m happy !!!! :) :)
