doesnt warrant usually start from the date of purchase (assuming you have a reciept or invoice to proove so?) I know Samsung do that with all their monitors
I think warranty on all electronic hardware starts from date of purchase. Doesn't matter if you left it in the box for 3 years, or used it for 3 years. That's what I thought anyway, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
