I have seen the odd post describing "black lines across the screen", I now seem to have something like that myself. They flicker across the screen, usually when loading a 3D app, this doesn't happen 100% of the time. the lines that come across the screen force the image apart and it makes everything jumpy, rather than just obscure that which is under the lines, they vary in size from .5-2cm in thickness, this jumpy effect is rather fast. Also towards the right hand side of both my screens I get lots of pixel errors, also jumpy and flowing in nature.

Now I have just popped on the 12.11 beta drivers but also had this with the older drivers installed and had some issues running 3Dmark11 at stock clocks but I did eventually get a full run through with a score I would expect, so performance seems to be where it should be.

The core seems to be running slightly hotter than it did do previously just at 48/49c on the desktop with 2D clocks.

Restarting does not seem to fix the issue it just seems to come and go at will but it's becoming more frequent.

I'm hoping it's not a hardware fault, would like to here from the other users that had this problem with the msi card. Cheers guys :)

48 idle is pretty hot, do you run 3 screens? If not I would guess you have poor heatsink contact with the GPU.

Just 2 screens, I think it was around 42c when I got it a few weeks ago, I'm not sure if the ambient is much different.

The corruption seems to be tied into MSI AB as a 1mhz increase in core or ram clock will kick the errors off. That's 1mhz up or down, any adjustment at all. God knows why that's happening but I'm going to assume its some kind of program corruption rather than hardware (thank god) I'm just figuring this out now as I'm typing this so I'm going to have a little play.
