okay so i have just built my first build your own computer, i have no idea if it works because i havent turned t on. now this is where i need help. how do i turn it on? i mean i know the power button aha but i have 3 cds, one with graphics card, one with motherboard and one with the OS. Now which do i put in first, or what im still so lost and is there anything i will need to know when i out the disks in. is it horrificly complicated?

Like quango said you just need to install OS. I would assume Mobo disk is just backup of BIOS or something? But that's why I thought it's best to check.

yeah in the manual with the motherboard it has got BIOS SETUP as a title also it says to access it i have to press the delete key during post screen. so is this disk not really needed is that what your saying?

ignore that

switch it on press the open cd draw, pop the cd in close the draw
you should get a press any key to boot from cd

if you miss it, restart your pc , then ignore the delete to enter bois, you should then get a press any key to boot from cd message on screen.

Then it will lead you though installing windows

once done use the drivers disc to install any drivrs like wi-fi or lan so you can get into the net to download updates for your system.

okay thankyou i expected it would be more complex expecially as in the manual you see screens that have like loads of writing and numbers aha but thankyou

It would probably be best to get the latest mobo/gpu drivers of the manufacturer's website. Should be fresher than the ones on the disk.

Install OS first then motherboard drivers from the disc. Get graphics drivers from the manufacturers website then you're good to go :D

Off topic question quickly, someone made my build for me on this forum and basically i have a 450 watt corsair power supply yet my graphics hard is a MSI HD 7770. now i have a feeling that this will not be enough watts, am i correct

Most cheap 500W PSU's won't actually provide 500W so the GFX manufacturers tend to overestimate the power required. Your Corsair is good quality so you should be fine.
