I've recently decided to rebuild a pc I built around 6 years ago, so went ahead and purchased a new mobo, processor, memory and graphics card, thinking that the psu I had would be fine.
However with everything put together, when I power up, all the fans spin, the mobo led and gpu led light up, but it doesn't boot, just a black screen and no beeps. The monitor just says no signal.
My specs specs are:
Motherboard - MSI 970 GAMING AMD 970 (SOCKET AM3+) DDR3 ATX MOTHERBOARD
Processor - AMD PILEDRIVER FX-6 SIX CORE 6300 BLACK EDITION 3.50GHZ (SOCKET AM3+)
Raijintek Ereboss cooler
Memory - CORSAIR Vengeance CML8GX3M2A1600C9 DDR3 PC Memory - 8 GB DIMM RAM
PSU - OCZ OCZ600MXSP-UK ModXStream Pro 600W ATX Power Supply
Now being the only part I didn't change, I'm wondering if the psu is up to the job of powering the new parts?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
