Hello all..I wonder if somebody can help me concerning my issue..But just a few days ago I logged on like any other day and I happen to of noticed that my Network connection had a spinning blue circle, and it will stay like that for about 5 seconds, to which, then a red "X" would appear, and that red X will stay there for about a minute and a half to 2 minutes. I would like to add that all other programs during this delay will work perfectly .I did get one error, as shows below..

I have tried to do the following...

A clean boot
Safe mode with Networking

I would greatly appreciate it if anybody has any ideas on how to fix this.

Windows 7 Ult

Thank you all.

I had a very similar problem a few years back and ended up reinstalling windows, which fixed it entirely. I suggest you do the same rather than wasting hours trying to reinstall drivers and fix the configuration.

Hey, Particpant thanks for responding...I do not have a Windows installation disc. It came preloaded on the computer itself.

Do you think quite possibly that I would get any joy if I reinstalled the driver, for the Network Adapter?

If so..This is embarrassing, but could somebody throw me the link for this particular driver that I am asking for (Intel(R) Ethernet Connection I217-V). I'm not really on top were computers are concerned. The last thing that I want to do is uninstall the driver and then receive a message stating that I downloaded the wrong driver.

Windows 7 Ult 64.

Thank you.
