Startup/USB problem

Ive got a problem with the bottom 2 usb slots on my pc.

If i have anything plugged into them my pc will take about 5 mins longer to boot.

But with nothing plugged into the bottom two slots it starts straight away.

I have no idea what it could be.

Anyone have an idea?

Is your bios set to look for USB bootup devices, this can slow the bootup process

This, either go into the bios and have the boot device priority set to - cd.dvd - hard drive - any others you wish

or just dont have anything plugged in when booting up?

Its not set in the bios

Just to be more clear the usb ports are on the back
