How are the roads where you live ?

Where I am they are in a state of decay, lots of the most recent surface tarmac has been worn away revealing older surfaces, loads of potholes too and an abnormal amount of sink holes seeming forming also, I guess it's a sign our local council is short of money, as it never used to be this bad, not on so many roads and not since before Covid at least

my mate almost wrote his car off a month back after hitting a pothole (new wheel needed and not convinced his suspension will pass MOT next time) , I feel like I am skiing or something the amount of weaving Indo to dodge the damn things and just this evening on the way to my lads swim lesson the...

As my reply in the other thread - I see lots of potholes on my way to work - they seem to have gone through my commute at some point in the last few days and filled them with stuff but not actually repaired (or someone else has gone along and poured stuff in out of desperation).
