Where could I purchase one of these from the high street? I need one to protect an old motherboard!

I'd suggest just nipping into your local computer shop and asking if they could give you one from a built system, likely to be cheaper and easier. Other than that I've seen motherboards put in A3 plastic wallets before and they worked perfectly well afterwards.
