Static build up?

Hello, all the parts for my PC came except the PSU as I got it from somewhere else which is not coming until Monday. So is it OK to put everything together then wait until MON/TUE and add the PSU or will it build up with static or something.

Any help appreciated.

Should be fine to put together, just make sure you take precautions when assembling. Try and earth yourself to the case using a wristband or just lean on the case then building.

It'll be good if you fit the PSU in first so you can tidy the cables around

Nope, it will be fine

I like to put the PSU in first since it's easier to manage cables however, it's more personal preference than anything

How can you earth yourself using the case when it doesn't have a PSU installed and connected to the mains with the mains switch turned off?

I personally don't think it's much of a risk now a days. Just touch a metal part of the case or a radiator to discharge and you will be OK.
