Static grrrrrrrrrr.............

Biggest factor would be shoes worn I think and also the type of flooring.
Fingertip shock will hurt because thats the most sensitive part of the body, use your knuckles instead or wear leather gloves to work :D

See chris brown has this problem all the time

They also have a much smaller surface area so the shock goes through a smaller area when connecting with something else.

My dad got one of those electric pulse machines for back pain and we spent quite a while testing out all sorts of ways of touching each other to see how the biggest pain could be produced.:p:o

End result was fingertip to palm, more than one finger touching the palm and the pain went down. :D

(No! You dirty minded individuals, not in that way!;))

I cant say i can actually hurt people with my electrical powers, but most night getting ready for bed I make a storm sliding my T-shirt over my head. Quite surreal if you ask me :p

If I remember right from a very long time ago at school , my science teacher said that static builds up more when the air is dry. The fine weather over the last fewdays may be partly responsible.

Was about to say this. Try misting yourself with a fine water spray before entering your house - should be some free electrons in there that can neutralise the static build-up...
