Talk to me in layman's terms how to set up a static IP address for my wireless system. I had it set as static when wired no problem utorrent was fine. Now I have gone wireless, I believe I have to set something on the router DHCP? but I am not sure where it is. I have a BT Voyager 2091 router.
I only have 1 computer and an Xbox 360 on my network :)

Thanks, I have run ipconfig /all from the command prompt, which is my "mac" address? Also I presume I add this along with a static ip of my choosing ie: 192.168.1.x <--where x is a number withinn the DHCP range like 1----254?
Thanks :)

Thanks HomerJ, just trying it now. Need to make sue uTorrent isn't firewalled. I have forwarded uTorrent in my router with the same ip as my static one so that should do it. I have used the wireless mac also :)
Edit: Still firewalled?? Do I need to turn off DHCP?

You may need to release and renew your IP on the wireless connection to get the IP you set.
Thank you for your help HomerJ another little string to my bow :) Sorted now. I just had to reboot my router, uTorrent no longer firewalled
