Hey guys. I need to forward ports to my router for zbattle.net(play online snes game) and was wondering if its possible with an aol connection(dhcp assigned ip)?

If so, any good guides?

You're confusing the IP AOL give your router (which is dynamic and you can't do much about) with the IP your router gives your machines (which you can do whatever you like with) - you can't forward ports to your router though (because it doesn't make sense, the router's WAN interface has no trouble using any port it wants), only to a machine behind the router.

i think he actually does want to have a static internal ip {192,168.x.x } this way the router will not assign a different ip to his machine thus making his game not work properly online.
