Static noice comes from one speaker.

I have the Megaworks 550THX 5.1 system for something like four and a half years and a month ago static noise came from one of the speakers when i turned the speakers on but closing them and opening them again would solve the problem. Now a static noise comes from the speakers.
Seems like it's something that can be fixed but these speakers aren't sold anymore from what i see.
Anyone who has a clue of what is going on?

My Megaworks 2.1 had this exact issue that only got worse with time to the point were no ammount of switching on/off would help, i've since replaced with a amp/bookshelf setup. Not much help i'm afraid
They always had a low level hiss from new, but this is attributed to the gain being to high on the internal amp.
One thing for sure i wont be buying creative again.

Dont they come with a 5yr warrenty?
