So - understanding that static pressure is about the amount of "push" a fan has beyond the air it can move... would that still be needed if there was a significant offset between the fan and the radiator?
I'm considering building a case into a drawer in a cabinet at home (cabinet would have a lot of cut outs for cooling, have this side of it covered, will make it a build log
. Would be going to decently "silly" lengths to make it work well but I'm looking at MUCH bigger fans shifting air in and out of a channel radiators would sit in (as in, this would be air in, through radiators, air out, all partitioned off into it's own area of airflow). I'm curious if I still need to pay attention to static pressure with this in mind.
Consider something like this (below). It would have 2 250MM fans sat each side with the 2 (probably 360x120MM) radiators sat on top of each other, longest sides touching between the pairs of 250mm fans.
It would essentially be 360x240MM of radiator with 500x250MM of fans each side of it with around 150MM between the rads and the fans to each side.
Would the CFM of a fairly beastly 250mm fan be enough or would additional "SP" fans strapped directly to one/both sides of the rad be needed too?

The "X" can either be left open to allow air to circulate or closed to force
more through the rads, depends what folks think would work best.
