OK, this is a pretty general question - but I have a feeling that my girlfriends static electricity field is somewhat detrimental to my PC!

A while back, she turned on my PC... and nothing - blown motherboard turned out to be the case. She rarely uses it, probably switches it on once to my 100 times.

At the time, I had a feeling it was her "fault" per se, but cant prove it so dropped it, after annoyingly long RMA and other problems.

Recently upgraded to the machine in sig, same case as before, now on a rock solid stable XP build, she switches it on.... BIOS throws a wobbler and wont boot up! Pulled the power lead out for a few mins when I get home, and it worked OK when I plugged it back in - panic over.

The strange thing is, she has some kind of electro-magnetic kinda field (no, before you ask I dont know what it is) but she cant wear wristwatches... as the electronics in them die after less than a week, or the time jumps all over the place.

Anyone else had any similar experiences, or just think im talking carp? :p

She can use her own PC and work laptop fine, the download PC fine, and PC's at work fine - just seems to be my Silentium case that doesnt like her!

Less talk of radiators... im currently Nitro-Mors'ing the downstairs one before replacing it... so I dont mangle the incoming pipe!

I dont think its a static jolt type thing.... more a case of her bodily magnetic "field" or whatever it is that causes watches to die!
