I like mine Medium-Rare usually... If i'm cooking at home it'll go in the George Foreman for no more than a minute and a half usually.. :D

How do you like yours?

Blue. They pretty much always overcook it anyway.

I did order one fillet I had in Tynemouth blue and it was fridge cold in the centre. I complained and the waiter's response was, "Well you did ask for it blue"

Sorry, but if you haven't got the knowledge about the food, don't start. You should never cook a steak straight from the fridge, or any meat. Tools.

They took it back and cooked it some more, making it then medium, which is also not what I wanted. Should have gone with the fish.

Medium-rare. Cooked so the meat in the centre is just turning pink and the flesh is starting to firm up but the steak is still deliciously tender.

I think that's somewhere around the 55°C mark for a decent steak.

Black and covered in tomato sauce.

Blue. Or even not cooked at all as steak tartare, but I don't have that very often :)

Rare. But even then I want it to have been cooked on a high enough heat that there is some nice charring on the outside whilst as much as possible on the inside is red rare. Mmmmmm

Pretty much like this, dark colour on them outside very rare middle. But sometimes I do fancy well done steak, not entirely sure why.

Medium rare for me, the outer pink of yours not quite as pink as the centre, although I don't mind that. I prefer them to slightly under cook it as opposed to over..
